If you are making some changes through software, maybe they are being reset somehow during calibration process.Ĭan you please let me know what your manual settings are? I have also tried to manually adjust it, but due to the large difference between target and current, I cannot adjust the brightness down far enough. I don't make any adjustments through any software. Then I let Spyder software complete the calibration.

I also adjust the RGB sliders manually on the monitor to reach the proper color balance target (or whatever it's called). I only adjust brightness and contrast manually on the monitor to get to my target luminance. I have Spyder 4 Elite with an Nvidia card and a Dell 22" IPS monitor, and I don't have any such issues. As it stands, even though my monitors are identical, they look nothing alike.Īs an FYI, both monitors are using a DVI cable. Hopefully, someone can help me figure this out.

It indicated I should get within 4% of target. Right now my target is 107 - my current is 145.7. Each time I click "Update" in the DataColor software it takes my screen back to the brightness it "appeared" to be prior to the adjustments and the cd/m drops very slightly. I've started with B:35 C:75 and worked my way down to B:15. I have a Nvidia card where I also adjust the backlight and manually on the monitor adjust it. I adjust and adjust, but nothing changes. I get to the point where it wants me to adjust the backlight control. I have attempting to calibrate to Asus monitors, same model, but I seem to be having problems.
